Purchasing Information
There is a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $100.00 for each goat. This is so you can give your goat a name for us to register the goat(s) for you on your behalf, so you don't have to, and it's one less step for you (if we haven't named them already). Because goats are herd animals they need a "buddy" so we recommend buying 2 kids, unless you already have goats. Final payment needs to be in cash, check, or PayPal due upon pickup/transport of goats. All goats will have a vet check before being released, to insure they are healthy before transport/pickup. They will also be either tattooed, or tagged with an ear tag, either option is at buyers' request if they are being transported/picked up for buyer's that are out of the state of Arizona (this is included in price of goat).
We look at our goats with a very critical eye when it comes to describing conformity, both strengths and weaknesses to a potential customer. We are making every possible effort to breed healthy, productive, well conformed animals and because of that anyone considering purchasing an animal from us can be assured that we will do our best to provide them with the animal that they are looking for.
Our goats are healthy and free from disqualifying faults when we sell them and we guarantee that at time of pick-up or shipping. Since we cannot control the goat's environment once they leave our ranch, we cannot offer further guarantees.
Stress is very common in both kids and adults of all ages when moved from one place to another. Illness and in rare cases, death, can occur if the animal is not properly handled or treated. We will not be responsible for stress/illness of any kind after the animal leaves our ranch.
Because we consider biosecurity to be of the utmost importance we may choose to not have goats re-enter our herd after leaving BUT we DO EXPECT (and consider it a common courtesy/obligation) for the purchaser to always give us THE RIGHT OF REFUSAL on any animal they have purchased from us in the past and find they need to rehome.
What is included in the price of the goat(s) from Robeson Ranch:
- They will be disbudded by a veterinarian, as well as their CD&T vaccine.
- You will get to name your new goat (if we haven't already named them).
- They will also be dewormed with natural dewormer called Molly's Herbal Wormer, so that by the time the goats are weaned (8 weeks for bucklings, and 12 weeks for doelings), they will be healthy when you pick them up. New owner will be given links so that they can buy the dewormer that we purchase for their future needs.
- They will be registered by us through AGS, and you will receive their certificate in your mail, since we registered the goat(s) for you (transfer of ownership).
- You will receive a "bill of sale", as well as a receipt from Robeson Ranch with our Premise ID/Scrapie ID that was given to us by the Arizona Department Of Agriculture.
Although we don’t foresee this happening, we reserve the right to refuse any sale at anytime for any reason. If this should ever happen, you will be refunded whatever you have paid.

Buyer is responsible for ALL COSTS including the cost of the crate for the goat(s), transport fees from Tucson International Airport (or ground if buyer chooses) to the buyers state. The goat(s) will have tattoos of their registration for AGS, as well as a copy of the Arizona Department of Agriculture paper stating what our Arizona Scrapie ID is.
Delta Airlines will ship goats.
A 32" x 22.5" x 24" Sky Kennel (Intermediate) will need to be purchased for EACH goat if buying 2 goats (1 buckling and 1 doeling). Otherwise you can put 2 doelings in 1 crate. we do not recommend putting 2 bucklings in the same crate unless they are brothers.
Here is the breakdown of what you will need:
- An Intermediate Sky Kennel with 1 (one) baby goat in it is about 28-30 pounds
(total weight).
- Ticket from Tucson International Airport to buyers closest airport needs to be purchased.
- Delta has RULES for transporting:
- Cannot be greater than 80 degrees at ALL locations from Tucson Int'l to buyers airport
(with a connecting flight because they typically don't have straight flights)
- Cannot be lower than 20 degrees at ALL locations from Tucson Int'l to buyers airport
(with a connecting flight because they typically don't have straight flights)
* ONCE THE GOAT LEAVES OUR FACILITY AND IS EN-ROUTE TO BUYERS LOCATION ROBESON RANCH AZ WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY STRESS, ILLNESS, OR DEATH DURING TRANSPORT. WE WILL DO OUR VERY BEST TO ENSURE THE GOAT(S) HAVE ALL THEY NEED FOR A SAFE JOURNEY. WE CANNOT PREDICT WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER THE GOAT LEAVES OUR CARE, AND WE CANNOT MAKE ANY CLAIMS NOR ANY GUARANTEE OF ANY KIND. *
